Flow of Cinema Theatre
The following project was for my digital media course at Carleton University. It follows the narration of documenting the overview history of Mayfair Theatre, one of the oldest landmarks in Ottawa. Operating since 1932, it runs as an independent repertory cinema. The theatre offers 325 seats and has 35mm projections with DTS and Dolby Digital sound. The modelling of the project includes the narrator and one of the employee's interview at the Mayfair Theatre to tell the story of the independent cinema. Specifically, on the topic of pandemic and how the COVID-19 has impacted independent cinemas like Mayfair theatre, and how the establishment is operating post-pandemic.

Upon entrance of the candy bar, there are popcorns and other various goods for purchasing before the film begins.

Down the stair, there is a vintage styled restroom with movie posters and famous celebrities on the walls.

"We have a really tightened kind of community that come here regularly, weekly, whatever it may be, even if it's just to come get popcorn."
